Revesby Workers Club, Function Space

Revesby, Sydney

The upgrade at Revesby Workers’ Club introduces a sophisticated new function precinct, enhancing the Club’s hosting capabilities with a refreshed entry, lobby, bar, and amenities that create a welcoming, contemporary arrival.

At the heart of the project is a revitalised function space, the design is inspired by soundwaves; starting with a subtle pastel palette in the function area, intensifying through the pre-function space, and reaching a bold crescendo in the Auditoriumm with a punchy palette of rust, umber, walnut, and verdigris. The Auditorium showcases new theatre-style tiered seating and an upgraded stage. The exisitng vast domelike skylight in the pre-function area has been modernised, diffusing light through a gauze-like fabric and new a cylindrical protrusion, integrating it into the space. An upper-level bar and seamless connections ensure a flexible, elevated event experience.

With more than 60 years as a cornerstone of the local community, Revesby Workers’ Club continues to evolve. From its early days as one of the few family-friendly gathering spaces in the region to its current standing as a premier entertainment and events destination, the Club’s latest redevelopment builds on this proud legacy. Altis Architecture’s design honours its heritage while delivering a vibrant, functional precinct that positions it as a premier events destination.
