Penrith RSL Club
Penrith, NSW,
The stage one redevelopment of the Penrith RSL Club is now complete. Since the Club opened in 1960 it’s been a cornerstone of the local community. The redevelopment unveils a series of thoughtfully designed spaces and upgraded amenities, expanding the Club’s capacity to serve the community and support Penrith’s continued growth.
The transformation showcases a newly designed façade, ground floor reception and an enhanced drop-off zone. The design now delivers architecturally distinguished frontage with commanding urban presence.
A defining element of the redevelopment is the impressive new sports and dining precinct, designed to accommodate up to 400 guests, including 70 alfresco seats. This energetic precinct combines a sports bar with diverse food and beverage offerings supported by upgraded back-of-house facilities for seamless service. A new retail and commercial tenancy on the ground floor activates the streetscape and adds opportunities for local businesses.
The club also features a state-of-the-art multipurpose auditorium and function space accommodating up to 700 guests’ theatre-style or 420 in banquet seating. The flexible layout allows the space to be divided into three separate rooms each with direct access to a shared breakout and pre-function area. Honouring the club’s heritage, the redevelopment includes a dedicated RSL memorabilia museum preserving and showcasing the proud history of Penrith RSL Club and the legacy of its service members.
With these upgrades, Penrith RSL Club now offers an enhanced experience for members guests and the wider community, combining modern facilities with a celebration of its longstanding history in the region.
