Altis were invited to create a Masterplan on behalf of the Newcastle Ports Authority for the redevelopment of the ports unutilised land. The masterplan aimed to create a vibrant mixed-use active waterfront development that consisted of a new Convention Centre, Hotel, Residential, Retail and Commerical uses. The Masterplan was a key strategic document that was utilised to prepare the sale of the land for the Ports Authority.
